Paper Bag Lunch Bag DIY

February 9, 2017

We have been itching to play with the 'paper bag fabric', better known as 'Kraft-tex'. And let us tell you - it is AMAZING! We have put together a very useable and easy to make sewing project for you to try.

You will need:
• 90cm of Kraft-tex fabric (we used brown, but it also comes in black, white and stone)
• Sewing machine and thread to match
• Black permanent marker (we used a Sharpie)
• Velcro
• Pins

• Scissors

This project was inspired by Jillian from makeMonster who supplied us with the Kraft-tex. One of the only Kraft-tex suppliers in Australia!

We followed the instructions from Purl Soho but replaced the button with velcro.

Make sure to swing by the makeMonser website as Jillian has information on how best to use Kraft-tex. We are still experimenting with it at XOXheadquarters and will post our findings soon!
